NAPLES, FL. -- The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its February 2007 Booked Orders Index was 129 down 1 point or a decrease of 1% from January 2007s Index of 130 (1990=100). The February 2007 Index represents a decrease of 1% from the February 2006 Index of 130.
February Booked Orders Indexes were 204 for Bulk Handling Equipment* and 102 for Unit Handling Equipment*(1990=100).
The Twelve-Month Index for Booked Orders was 144 in February. Index in February is unchanged from January 2007's Twelve-Month Index of 144.
The CEMA Billed Sales (shipments) Index was 143 in February. Index in February is unchanged from January 2007's Twelve-Month Index of 143. The February 2007 Index represents an increase of 3% from the February 2006 Index of 139.
February Billed Sales Indexes were 187 for Bulk Handling Equipment* and 141 for Unit Handling Equipment*(1990=100).
The Twelve-Month Index for Billed Sales was 143 in February. Index in February is unchanged from January 2007's Twelve-Month Index of 143.
* Since Bulk Handling Systems booked and billed sales are reported quarterly, they are averaged back to the two preceding months to enable a running monthly index.
