NAPLES, FL. -- The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its November 2005 Booked Orders Index was 160 up 3 points or an increase of 2% from October 2005's Index of 157 (1990=100). The November 2005 Index represents an increase of 18% from the November 2004 Index of 136.
November Booked Orders Indexes were 158 for Bulk Handling Equipment* and 157 for Unit Handling Equipment*(1990=100).
The Twelve-Month Index for Booked Orders was 154 in November. Index represents an increase of 1% from October 2005's Twelve-Month Index of 152.
The CEMA Billed Sales (shipments) Index was 146 in November up 19 points or an increase of 15% from the October Index of 127. The November 2005 Index represents an increase of 5% from the November 2004 Index of 139.
November Billed Sales Indexes were 160 for Bulk Handling Equipment* and 150 for Unit Handling Equipment*(1990=100).
The Twelve-Month Index for Billed Sales was 150 in November. Index represents
an increase of 1% from October 2005's Twelve-Month Index of 149.
* Since Bulk Handling Systems booked and billed sales are reported quarterly, they are averaged back to the two preceding months to enable a running monthly index.
