CEMA STATISTICs JANUARY 2017 – ARE OUT!

January 2017 booked orders when compared to December 2016 booked orders were down 21.0%.
 

 

NAPLES, FL – The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its January 2016 Booked Orders increased 47.6% when compared to January 2016 orders.

January 2017 booked orders when compared to December 2016 booked orders were down 21.0%.

January Booked Orders were up 4.2% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 27.4% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to December.

CEMA’s January 2017 Billed Sales (shipments) increased by 2.1% when compared to January 2016 sales.

January 2017 billed sales when compared to December 2016 billed sales were up 3.2%.

January Billed Sales were down 13.1% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 12.0% for Unit Handling …

CEMA Statistics – Semi-Annual Spring 2017

CEMA reports that 2016 shipments in North America were up 1.6%!
 

 

NAPLES, FL – The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reports that 2016 shipments in North America were up 1.6%  CEMA estimates that shipments totaled $12.188 billion for 2016, a record level and an increase of $265 million from 2015 shipments of $11.923 billion.

CEMA estimates that new orders totaled $12.324 billion in 2016.  New orders in 2016 were $1.17 billion more than 2015, representing an increase of 9.8%.

Unit Handling orders were up 17.0% and shipments were up 5.8%.  In the Bulk Conveying area, orders were down 5.4% and shipments …

February 19, 2013; CEMA welcomes Woodsage to our CEMA Membership.

We look forward to working with them and having them as part of our Association.   Please visit their website at:  www.woodsage.com

Woodsage was approached by a material handling company to fabricate 45 roller assemblies. We first machined the assemblies’ sprockets. This was followed by welding of the axles, rollers, and precision bearings. The products were then finished with a clear zinc finish. The dual sprocket straight conveyor rollers were 54″ long and had an outside diameter of 2.50″. After a thorough inspection and testing process, we packaged and shipped the 23 lb. rollers.
